The principal and interest repayments do not begin until after the student graduates, leaves school, or drops below half-time status. SUNY Cortland has developed a process that will ensure the timely processing of your Stafford Loan. SUNY Cortland will automatically package you for your maximum Stafford Loan eligibility for your grade level, whether subsidized or unsubsidized. M&T Bank PLUS and GradPLUS Loans M&T Bank PLUS and GradPLUS Loan's are low interest, federal loans for the parent of a financially dependent undergraduate student or for a graduate student who needs additional money for college expenses. Parents and/or graduate students have the option to postpone the repayment of a PLUS Loan or GradPLUS Loan through forbearance in 12-month increments up to 4 years. M&T Bank Private Education Loan M & T Bank Private Education Loan is available to undergraduate, graduate, continuing education and health professions students. The M & T Bank Private Loan is a low interest rate loan that offers a variety of benefits and repayment terms.
